How do I identify my current Ubuntu distro?

    Hello,

Is there a command, which when entered in a terminal, will output the name of the Ubuntu release that i am currently using?

If so, what is this command?

    Thank you.

There is another way to do it, without having to go through the terminal:

System > Administration > System Monitor > 'Systems' tab

You will see it around the top.
There's no such thing as real life, only AFK.
