yeah, i was going 64-bit, perhaps 32-bit for windows xp if i try it out on it, since i only have the 32-bit version

hey i also read this on the mobo, its confusing me lol
    2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (blue @ x16 mode,gray @ x4 mode)
so thats saying... theres a x16.. but it only goes to x4, am i correct?

if so, not an issue, i'll have only one graphics card
Someday we'll hit the human carrying capacity. And the band will just play on. -Me

I'm trying PHP, so my code can probably be labelled "bad and insecure"

    Re: newegg combo deal

    i googled "2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (blue @ x16 mode,gray @ x4 mode)"
and found a motherboard that has that same reporting.
one of the pcie slots is blue, the other is gray.
i'm thinking that the blue pcie does 16x and the gray one does 4x?

yeah, i'm pretty sure it means the blue slot does 16x and the gray 4x.
so even if you have 2 cards, one will run at 16 the other at 4... weird. lol

    Re: newegg combo deal

I got this from a google review search:

    Pros.
Good onboard graphics. HD4200 w/128mb DDR3-1333 sideport memory.
    Good overclocking and stability.
    Good heatsinks all around.
    2oz copper PCB.
Support is decent along with bios updates.
    2 pcie slots.

    Cons.
1 pcie slots runs x4 when in crossfire mode.
4-pin power. Again not a problem.
    5 Sata ports.
    Brown PCB. Again personal preference.
Users report bios updates needed to run C3 chips.
