Compiz Check Results

Hi I'm trying to get the desktop effects to work but i'm stuck this is what compiz check gave me
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04
Desktop environment: GNOME
Graphics chip: nVidia Corporation G98 [GeForce G100] (rev a1)
Driver in use: nouveau
Rendering method: None

Checking if it's possible to run Compiz on your system... [SKIP]

Checking for hardware/setup problems... [SKIP]

At least one check had to be skipped:
Error: No rendering method in use (AIGLX, Xgl or Nvidia)
is my graphics card not good enough or what can i do?

Sounds like your graphics card's drivers aren't installed. Look in System -> Admin -> Hardware Drivers and see if you can install them there.

If not, post back the ouput of

sudo lspci | grep VGA

HEY! Thats my script that I had posted a few days ago!

it appears that ozy was right, it seems to be that you dont have the proper drivers installed, and there is no assigned rendering method..



Also, if you want, run that script like this for a LOL

./compiz-check --banana
