Angry Ubuntu One stuck on queued

I bought a song on Ubuntu One today. However after I download it, it is stuck on queued. It has been like this for a few hours. I have closed and opened rhythmbox a number of times and restarted the computer but the download is stuck on queued. I only bought one song.

Yup, me too. I got an email receipt stating that my card was charged, but whenever I go to the downloads area, it's an endless "Queued..."

This does not inspire confidence in this store. This is the first and last time I'm buying anything from these guys. Clearly they don't have their act together one bit.

At the moment the synchronisation performance of Ubuntu One (and thereby, Music Store purchases) is very slow. You can get at your store purchases using the Ubuntu One web client - that's what I've done in the last week or so.. It's a pain, for sure, so I'm really hoping that we see an improvement soon - allegedly matters should get better over the next week or so..

It's worse than that to be honest, it's just completely broken. At least it is for me, and has been for days now.

Well the files don't appear in my cloud so where are they? I contacted the 7Digital team and they have given me a refund to my account. I suppose this means my credit card because since when did Ubuntu One hold money?

Same for me, stuck on queued. Took me ages and many attempts to buy the album in the first place via paypal. Just kept locking up. After many attempts I finally got to pay for the album, and now just queued.

This bug became apparent quite some time ago judging by the posts. I think the music store was opened way too early, especially when you are dealing with people's hard earned money.

    Not very good people.

Couldn't agree more. These problems have the potential to really turn newcomers off Ubuntu, and perhaps by extension, Linux in general. I've practically given up on Ubuntu One for the time being, and gone back to using Dropbox, which works flawlessly..

Re: Ubuntu One stuck on queued

    Current status:
First of all the file sync is now much faster. I just tried to upload 23 Mb file and it completed in 20 seconds.

There was an issue on 9th of June that caused the songs to be queued and not downloaded. This was resolved ~18:00 UTC yesterday. In case your songs are still not being downloaded, please feel free to join #ubuntuone channel on FreeNode (e.g. via http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=ubuntuone ) or reply to this topic.

I've got one song that's stuck in queued, I was able to purchase another song and it downloaded. The one queued, I think is queued because I had ubuntuone half installed when I purchased it (I was starting with mythbuntu). Is there a way to kick the stuck queued file?

Re: Ubuntu One stuck on queued

I'm a new Ubuntu user, and having this exact same problem. I downloaded an album, and half of the songs downloaded fine (to my cloud and to my desktop), but the other half didn't- stuck on queued, and not appearing at http://one.ubuntu.com/ either. After quitting and restarting Rhythmbox a number of times, as well as restarting my computer once, no improvement.

I then decided to try deleting the album folder from "~/.local/share/ubuntuone/Purchased from Ubuntu One" and restarting Rhythmbox. Now, half of the files (the half that were OK before) are stuck on "Transferring to your Ubuntu One storage" and the others are still stuck on "Queued..."!!!

Luckily, I'm geeky enough to enjoy lots of other features of Ubuntu (and, occasionally, Rhythmbox) anyway, so it isn't a dealbreaker, but this is a disaster for a lot of new users.

Is there any sort of fix? Or even just a way to cancel and redownload the tracks? If not, I think it's refund time...

EDIT: For no logical reason, after a while the "good" downloads (as in, the ones that worked before) gave me an option to download again- they seem to be working fine. But the "bad" downloads are STILL stuck on "Queued..."
