    removed gnome panel!

I accidentally removed my gnome panel from the top of the screen. I am able to create another blank panel but I cant seem to find the three tabs on the top left that were there before.

Is there any way i can run a terminal command to restore to default kinda thing? or how do i fix it?

do you mean you want the "Applications, Places, System" tab?
Right click the panel > Add to Panel > "Menu Bar"

another way would be to just reinstall to default. open a terminal and enter

    sudo debconf gnome-panel

    and reboot
