    Boot commands

Is there any way to choose which OS to boot before a reboot? I am looking to create a launcher that will switch the OS without loading grub. I would like to know if it is possible, and any other help would be greatly appreciated.

No there isn't a way to do what you are asking.

    Re: Boot commands

You can do this with grub-reboot

    See : http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/...-reboot.8.html

Basically this command sets the default OS to boot with the next reboot, you need to use gurb terminology.

    Thank you drs305
