Canadians: Where are the Maritimers/Newfies?

I'm a Nova Scotia Linux user, I have 3 machines, one with OpenSuse, one with Ubuntu and one with Debian. I also use an Android mobile phone.

Once or twice a year an honorary Maritimer going over for business or pleasure.

I should go there sometimes, just to relax my mind and to feel the human warmth.

Until you realize that Newfoundland (not sure about the other maritime provinces) has rain and fog every day and you can't see across the road on a hot (5 degrees) summer's day.

It's close-ish just over an hour or so drive, depending on what route you use
