This is a question for a true egg head. My home server was formatted in preparation for installing Ubuntu 10.04, and we forgot to backup my SQL databases that I use for my Wordpress blogs. I have hundreds of posts that I don't want to lose, so I used the best data recovery tool I know of, Dr. Freeware, which restored just about everything that was formerly on the hard drive EXCEPT for the databases. We're guessing that the complex nature of SQL databases makes them hard to detect by data recovery tools. A simple Google search pulls up many programs that specialize in repairing damaged databases, but I can't find any utility that can undelete a lost database. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
