    Vertical Taskbar

    I like to have my list of windows organized vertically so I can see the titles of each window. I was able to do this with some configuration options in GNOME's default windows manager. However, it tends to be unstable and eventually stops responding.

    Is there a way (besides the one I mentioned above) to get a vertical "taskbar" in Ubuntu? I basically want to see the icon and the title of each window like this:
    Application1
    Application2
    Application3

    Instead of:
    Application1|Application2|Application3
