Has anyone investigated apt-offline for Wine installs?

Lucid ships a tool in universe known as apt-offline.

I'd like to provide a simple tutorial for people who ask "How do I install Wine without an internet connection?" as I get this a lot. Has anyone done this using apt-offline?

If you write something good here I'll put it in the sticky threads at the top. Thank you!

Very neat! Glad to see apt-offline is finally being included in Ubuntu default repos. If no one else gets around to this I will have time to hack out a HOWTO on this subject come Sunday afternoon.

    Hey, YokoZar,

You might also point folks to Keryx to install Wine offline. I have done it myself on several occasions. I think Keryx misses a few dependencies (we're still working on dependency calculation), but if you know which ones they are, it's no trick at all.
Myth: Linux is only usable with a persistent Internet connection. WRONG!
You can use Keryx to download your .debs with dependencies from any OS!
