So, I've been using Empathy since I installed 10.04, since I thought- eh, why not? I don't mind clicking twice to get into chat if I can have that cute green notification.
But what I DO mind is clicking twice to open a new chat that I'm used to opening itself without my intervention. Kinda' ridiculous there's no option to have it automatically pop up in my face, like in Pidgin.
However, the chat themes in Empathy are just so nice! The animation is something I guess I could live without, but the bubble and the borders around the text... they're just so nice! They make Pidgin look ugly. T^T
So, here's my dilemma- the Adium Webkit theming plugin only works on 32-bit, and I use 64-bit, so it isn't an option for me (yet).
Anyone know of some way to change the chat theme in Pidgin without using webkit or 32-bit only code? I really wanna' be shallow about looks and love functionality at the same time.
