personally i like abstract colours so that i am not distracted.

will have a go adding txt or similar using inkscape

very curious as to how you created it in the first place. then i can see if i can do similar in inkscape and help develope the idea with txt etc.

Coz these sites got their wallpapers from somewhere. If we don't keep trying to improve things, it will all get stale. Theres not harm in trying now is there?

Why did you photoshop it when you have tutorial for GIMP for exactly the same wallpaper? I have already made it few months ago. Just can't find it in the moment. I will send it later.

It's not bad, it's just plain, it would be nice to add Ubuntu or the logo or both into the image. Either way, it's a nice start.
