wallpaper slideshow in xml using monodevelop

Have you followed the instructions on the website for making the slideshow your active desktop, i.e. gone to Change Desktop -> Add -> Filter all files -> Select your XML file?

Yes, I have the done it the same way you mentioned, still it is not working..

Someone else just posted a gnome slideshow creation script in this forum. Try that script and see if it works. Otherwise, I don't know how else to help you.

Hi soltanis, to my surprise the program is working perfectly when I changed the encoding from UTF8 to ASCII.
