    User account always disabled !

    Hi,
    I created a new user (say, user1) which always remains in disabled state ! With passwd -S I always see it as locked. Then, with passwd -u I do get a message as unlocked. But, with passwd -S I still see it as locked !

    What is wrong ?

    I installed Lynx a few days ago.

    Hi everybody,

    It seems like ProgramErgoSum never got an answer... did you ever find out what was wrong? I got the same problem today!
