    Docky & 10.04 LTS

    I have a problem with Docky & 10.04 LTS.

It looks like this with a black area at the bottom of the screen:

Also, what's 'compositing' and how do I enable it?

    Thanks.

Have you installed the proprietary drivers for your video card yet?

Go to the Main Menu -> System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers and check to see if the video card driver is enabled.

First, you'll have to bear with me if that's ok - I'm a Linux/Ubuntu newbie. Ah, I don't really know what's going on with the video drivers, when I check Main Menu -> System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers, it says "No proprietary drivers are in use on this system", however if I check /var/log/Xorg.0.log it says that I'm using the Openchrome driver. Any ideas?
