Add formatted partition to existing ubuntu installation

I have been googling for the best way to do this, but I'm not finding the right answer. I have 3 partitions on my disk, one of which is a 15gig partition I formatted with the Ubuntu Disk utility. I'd like to use it to expand the partition I have Ubuntu installed on. What would be the best way to go about that?

Live Ubuntu CD. Start Gparted in system>administration. Move and expand partitions as needed
