RE-Install grub

Now I installed windows 7 so I need to install grub again....

I have ubuntu 10.4 64

Can anyone tell me how?
I don't know if its grub or grub 2 that came with 10.4

I don't know if there's a difference between the 10.4 and 9.10 restore guide

I don't know if I can do this off a 9.4 or 9.10 netbook remix cd since I don't have a 10.4 live cd

So with all that said what can I do

Update so I got grub working but only 197 beta or something like that so how can I upgrade it
