I'm searching for a few things..
  • An iPhone app, that I can control my video playback * preferably with VLC* with .avi, .mp4 and .mkv video types..
  • and also music playback with some player on Ubuntu *also looking for a nice music media player on Ubuntu that i can do with with.. Mostly for .mp3 and .flac audio files


if there is a plugin for Amrock or Rhythm box so that I can used the "iPhone Remote"
Or should i run a Live version of Mythbuntu ??

Additional Details
My Desktop is where i will be running this, and my desktop is connected via Cat5/LAN cable.
iPhone is not jailbroken buts running on iPhone OS version 3.1.2 (7D11) Modem firmware 05.11.07

I'm running Ubutnu 9.10 currently
