Need help with certain web page loading

I am a student attending regular class as well as taking a few online courses although I have been having some difficulty getting my online call website to load at a decent speed. It is lightening fast in windows using FF/chrome/ and IE and it does load in Linux but it takes FOREVER for the pages to display. I am confident it is not an ISP issue or anything I think there is just something I may need to disable or enable to get it to smarten up. I have asked people in IRC before to see how long it takes them to load this page and they all said it was instant so I will give it to you as well to see if you can give me some input as to how fast it is for you or just how to get this to work.the site is

You need Windows Media codecs from Medibuntu.org, Flash Plugin, and Java Plugin for this site to work properly. Are you sure you have all that installed? Are you using 32bit or 64bit Ubuntu?

Note that these are not all installed by default...

ubuntu restricted codecs i installed when i installed 10.04 as my usual routine as well as flash and java. i added the medibuntu repo and installed the w32 codecs and im still getting the same result as before. any other ideas? maybe something that needs to be turned off or on in the browser options?
