Full HD (FHD) on Pangolin?

Is full HD something that might be added to the Pangolin at some point? Full HD and full ubuntu compatibility are the two key features I am looking for in my next laptop. The Serval is a bit overkill in price, size and features (other than HD) for me. Any hope for this system to be offered some day?
