This is a really trivial issue, but if someone has a solution...
I'm running 10.04 AMD 64bit and bypassing the logon screen ie I boot straight to my Gnome Desktop.
I only get to hear the last half-second of the startup sound. (I told you it was a trivial issue.)
Is there a way to insert a sleep command in the appropriate startup script to delay the execution of the sound file for a few seconds?
TIA
