hi. instead of saying a bunch of stuff im going to just show you. this is my desktop.
but i would like to change the ubuntu "start menu" picture to this:
but i can not seem to do it. i think i have to be "root" to edit te folder. can someone give me a hand wit this? also let me know what you think. wallpaper credited to k3nzus on deviantart!
Ubuntu addict and loving it
use gconf-editor-> apps-> panel, look through there for the menu applet, you'll see a checkbox to use custom icon & 1 where you set the path to the icon.
