I installed Ubuntu Server 10.4 in a Vmware server just to make some tests before putting it in a production environment.
The question is how to get an operative console to log in.

When it starts, it stay in the debug console so it is not possible to log in.

CTRL+ALT+F[1-6] doesn't work (neither pressing SPACE).

The only way to log in is from an SSH client.
