That was a long, long time ago. I have a feeling she's not quite so attractive. But, cookies are always good.

But...cookies get old too! Or worse, eaten.

Also, you forgot the "...in a galaxy etc. etc. etc." part.

I've seen a number of users destroy the bootsectors of their windows partitions due to a very misleading instruction on the grub2 install ("If not sure, install to every partition").

This isn't a very good advertisement for ubuntu since new users are required to fix bug#1. So I agree, the release should have been held back. Or maybe just tested better.

In one of the episodes (was it "Hardware Wars"?) her hairstyle resembled cookies in some scenes.

And who stole the splash screen from my copy of 10.04, and mislabeled the Vista partitions in grub2? My experience hasn't been 100% smooth.....

Although I'm not having the issues you are , I agree with the taking the time that's needed to get it right sentiment , Look at the company Blizzard they have been notorious for "It'll be ready when it's good and ready" and they are the archetype of gaming companies and have never compromised and have legions of loyal fans breathless at their every move and that's because everything they do embodies quality and perfection.

Whilst I'm not fan #1 of Ubuntu I still have to wonder why everyone is always pointing fingers at the Linux distribution but when Windows wipes out Linux boot records or the entire drive, it's "Well it's Windows - Linux should prolly be able to prevent that too!".

The difference is, Ubuntu is "Linux for human beings", and human beings embody everything BUT quality and perfection. Ubuntu strives to embody human attributes like impatience, imperfection, Princess Leia, and cookies.
