Blank screen after 10.4 LTS install

Please help me - 10.4 LTS install went without any issues. After restart, blank screen shows up. IT is SGI dual p3 system with LCD monitor. AFter the install, not able to even get to the setup screen. PLEASE HELP

Are you able to boot into recovery mode? Older kernels? Anything?

A slightly newer kernel seemed to work fine for many people (myself included).
