I have installed ubuntu 9.10 on my emachines laptop E625. I can connect to the net using a cable but the laptop won't connect wireless. At the top near the clock the laptop is not picking up any wireless net works.
I have installed ndiswrapper and downloaded the drivers for this laptop. but I don't know how to install them. I have followed the following
System > Administration > Hardware Drivers
now the wireless light on my laptop has turned on but I am still not connected wireless to the net.
The laptop is still not picking up any wireless networks.
If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this problem I would be grateful.
I have little or basic knowledge of unbuntu
