    How to install a PS2 emulator on WINE

    I have wine all hooked up, but how do i use a PS2 emulator on wine. Has anyone ever used one or know of one, thanks.

    Why would you install one in Wine? Linux does have native ones.

    PCSX2 for one. There might even be one in the Ubuntu repos, I'm not sure.

    it says on the site that i have to install all kinds of things for linux, is that needed.

    Yes. You'll need a few required packages before using it.
    Don't try and shortcut by just trying to run it under wine because you'll likely fail.
    There are a few repos with pcsx2 packages in them, with 2% of effort you can easily find and install them.

    Search in the Synaptic Package Manager and you should have no problems finding those required items.

    I've done it and it works
    Albeit, I can't properly play because my graphics card is not good enough. If I'm not wrong you need a card that is on par with Nvidia's 9800 (or was it 9500) and above. My card is just a little too low (9400GT).

    If you can't find one of those packages, let us know what version of Ubuntu you are using and I can assist in finding the specific name for you.
