I was trying to use gnome-mousetrap for fun, but it doesn't seem to work. At first it wouldn't even work at all after installing it from the ubuntu software center, so I compiled it myself. This worked ok for a while, but I couldn't open the the preferences window because of an error that said something like "debug: no match found" or something like that. Other times it said that there was an error with a system python file. Now I can't even get the app to work. It just keeps putting out tons of lines of text about "debug: match found" when run from the terminal, and a window never appears. Does anyone know if what could cause a program to act up so bad? Could I be missing some dependencies? I installed everything it said to.

And if anyone knows of some alternatives, please let me know

one more thing: my webcam works just fine in other programs
