    Yes. The Starling needs 32-bit.

    I installed the UNR 10.04 RC on a netbook of mine, 9.10 just didn't work on it for some reason.

    If you're talking about the classic desktop on Lucid, yes, it's there, but you choose it during login from a menu on the bottom of the login screen.

    If you can do it after you have logged in, I have yet to find it, and wouldn't mind knowing if it's possible.
