    Question: Definition of "salla"?

As some of you may know Salla is a municipality in Finland, also it is a hill and a common female name. I ran in to this You tube video. Now for personal reasons I would like to inquire from the community what meanings does "salla" have in your native lanqeuge/area?

    Thank you for your replies.

It sounds like it means something in Middle-Eastern languages.
I like the female name, though.
Sometime ago I wanted to migrate to Finland, but Finnish seems, well, hard, istahtaisinkohan = "I wonder if I should sit down for a while"... oh my

With the accent on the first syllable it's something close to 'living room' in greek, though kind of retro as a word. It implies that the person using it is of a certain age.
Comes from french salle I guess.
I want to live in this alternate universe T___T

No but really the closest thing is a 'sala' which means a living room or some variation of that (in spanish).

There is a similar word, "sala", in Samoan, which can refer to wrong, and which can also be used as a name.
