Ubuntu 10.10 Copy/Paste issue

I am experiencing an issue where the first time I copy and paste it works fine. But after that it just pastes garble. I've installed glipper and if I clear the clipboard after every copy/paste its fine but that is a pain in the behind. Anyone has any suggestions?

At first I upgraded from 10.04 and this came up so I thought I would just do a clean install of 10.10. It was still happening.

Anyone have any ideas? This is very annoying to have to clear out the clipboard before every other copy/paste.
