I tried search for this but didn't find it in forum and I do hope I am duplicating this. It looks like Synaptics has released multitouch gestures for Linux. Very good nice and looking forward to using it on my Ubuntu notebooks.

Yeah I know pirated copy of XP is free, but so is Ubuntu and it's LEGAL!
Sweet.
That's what she said.
What are the odds of this being included in Ubuntu as a restricted driver? The press release only mentions availability to OEMs...
I thought it's already available!
Does anyone have any info about "dualpad" used for instance on Toshiba A200 laptop? Thanks

Any idea on when this will be available?
I hope 10.10 would have it in it. That would be an awesome addition.

I am using two-finger scrolling feature in Ubuntu 10.10 and i am really impressed.....It has made the task of zooming and scrolling easier.....
Though it needs a little time to get familiar with it....But its FUN !!!!
Since Hardy I've been using two finger scrolling, two finger right click, and three finger middle click on my netbook... As far as I'm concerned it's already supported.

I don't have that at all on my notebook. The two finger scrolling is grayed out for me.
