    Personal Accounting Software for Linux

I had read your post earlier and was looking for a 'nix equivalent for something else. In my travels I came across this and thought I'd be a good Linux citizen and post back here. They list the software below.
Please note: these are not all opensource, some are not even free, many of them are cross platform (ie work on Win too). I haven't used any of them and am not necessarily endorsing any of them! In fact I'd quite like to hear your feedback as I'll probably need something similar too in the future (tax time coming - need to get my finances in order).

GnuCash (as mentioned above) [opensource, cross-platform, in Ubuntu repos]
KMyMoney [opensource, requires KDE (although may work under Gnome?)]
    jGnash [cross-platform (java based), opensource]
    MoneyDance [cross-platform, free demo]
Grisbi [opensource, cross-platform, install from tarball]
    PLCash [cross-platform, freeware]
lazy8ledger [opensource, cross-platform, will be in Lucid repo] - from my quick glance this looks fantastic and will probably be my first choice.

I hope that's of some use to you (and others maybe too?)

Try HomeBank. It is in the lucid repos as well.
