    Netbook-Remix GUI

    Hey guys,
I've just bought a netbook and I have a question.
Now I know that UNR is essentially the same as 'normal' ubuntu except for the GUI. Is it possible to enable the UNR interface on a normal ubuntu install? or vice-versa?

    many thanks in advance...

    Re: Netbook-Remix GUI

    Hi,

I did it by installing UNR 9.10 and then updating to Lucid 10.04. It pulled in Gnome during the update. Now I can log into either Gnome or UNR desktops.

Oddly enough I find that regular Gnome is a bit faster and responsive on my eeePC 1101HA than UNR.
