Restore?

I have a Koala Mini I buy a year and a half ago. I stile have a mix of ubuntu and kubuntu 8.04. I plan to upgrade to kubuntu 10.04 (lts) when it get out. I want to know if I need to do a Restore in the System76 drivers. I would also like to know what it is gonna do? What it is gonna install? Since I install kubuntu and not ubuntu will the restore install something specific to ubuntu?

I don't *think* the System76 Driver will support the old Koalas in Ubuntu 10.04. The Koalas were always well supported by Ubuntu out of the box.

Not sure about Kubuntu, but it *should* support the Koala fully as well.

Thanks, that's what I want to know.

Since kubuntu is ubuntu with kde, the drivers should be the same. So if you say ubuntu support the koala without problems then kubuntu will.
