    ClamAV Updates

I just had a quick question. How long does it usually take for updates to reach the karmic database so that the package manager can download the updates? I picked up version 9.53 of ClamAV this afternoon and it's already complaining about the engine being outdated. Thing is that 9.6 was released in March. Can I go about getting the latest version through the package manger? Or should I just get the debians from the site?

If you need to run a scan with the latest updates, then you would need to download the debs. Though, if your virus definitions are up to date, there shouldn't be a problem.

But shouldn't the latest engine be in the karmic repository?
