Post Change Password Character back to "•"

    Quick question.

Whenever I type a password Ĺ shows up instead of •. So is it a way to change it back? Also, it's not only when I type a password Ĺ shows up. It's also when I try to type • somewhere unless it's in a app like Firefox for example.

Hope you guys can help me, it's starting to get annoying...

EDIT: Just noticed some other characters are wrong too. I must have wrong keyboard layout or something even though it says "Sweden" which is what I always had... Maybe I have wrong keyboard model. Is there a command like can show what keyboard device you have?

You might need to reinstall you language pack. Just a guess, but if you had a corrupt file or two it might explain the problem.

are you using a non-standard font?
Things are rarely just crazy enough to work, but they're frequently just crazy enough to fail hilariously.

It depends on the font your using. I use to get a \ looking thing when using Uralic fonts
    KDE SC 4.4

It was the font. I tried to change the application font and it was dots again. Before I used HandelGotD and now I changed it to Lucida Grande, looks a bit boring but atleast the characters are correct.

I should have realized that before, I recently changed the font... >.> Silly me.

But thanks for the replies guys!
