Hi everybody!

My name is James and I'm a Ruby developer who recently made the jump over to Linux from OSX. My MBP went down for the count last week (after living to the ripe old age of six) and I couldn't justify spending $1500 to get a $500 computer to replace it. Instead, I got a Lenovo machine, and after trying a bunch of different distros, settled on Ubuntu MATE. With all of that out of the way, I'm looking forward to learning more about Linux and getting to know you all.

Hello !

I am Sabina, from Paris, France. I have been using Ubuntu for almost 2 years (already ?!) and I am mostly interested by security and cyber-security and how to improve it on my computer. I am planning to try Hardened Gentoo sonner or later and maybe PC-BSD.
