Easy Ubuntu into Windows domain?

Hey all,

for my evening school we have to do a project, we are going to create a domain, and a vpn using windows

Maybe for bonus I'm going to try to put Ubuntu in the domain.

So can someone tell me an easy way to join a Windows domain using Ubuntu?
