    Question Epson 700 Scanner Problem...

    Hi,

I have a all-in-one EPSON 700 printer. It is connected via USB. I can print just fine with it.
    But no luck with scanning.

When I go to xsane, it says it can't find any devices.

I'm not sure if this matters but I am running Ubuntu 9.10 on my iMac G4 powerpc.

I would love to be able to get this up and running!

    Thanks!!!

    Hi,

Go to the "Avasys" site and get their Imagescan package, go through the form filling in bit and when you get to the download page scroll right down until you see "Iscan-Imagescan deb" which is a completely seperate app from the full printing package, once downloaded use gdebi to automatically install it, needs a reboot to work properly.

    Regards, Ellgor.
