    Ubuntu

From my discussions with people who knew of ubuntu as a philosophy before it became the name for a linux distribution and from reading the various texts on the topic on the internet it is a great compliment to be told "you have ubuntu."

Likewise, it is a great insult to say you have no ubuntu.

Currently, the tag for banned forums users reads "no ubuntu here" which is probably meant in the context of pretending ubuntu is coffee (Example: "two cups of ubuntu"). However, if it is interpreted in its original meaning, it's a mother of an insult.

I am certain that few people (from south africa) have noticed this otherwise, they would have pointed this out before I did.

Maybe this tag should be re-evaluated? You can't wish someone well and then tell them they have no soul...

No. He's saying that the phrase "no ubuntu here" could be taken to mean "no humanity toward others," a great insult--when it's intended to mean "no coffee grinds."

Edit: I could have sworn I was replying to one of ubuntu-geek's posts. Was I hallucinating?
