    automount partitions on startup

    Hi
    how do i set additional partitions to automount on startup ie. so id don't get prompted for a password?

    one other thing, how do you switch off the 60 second pause when shutting down

    To automatically mount drives you need to add an entry to /etc/fstab.

    you should edit /etc/fstab and specify your mount options there for applying at boot-time.

    Did you ever think they don't know how to do that and they can't understand the manual.

    I just came from my brother's place and his wife didn't know what a gigabyte was.
