    kde killed everything

    I just installed kde enviroment on my ubuntu 9.10.
    Command I used is sudo aptitude install kde-desktop.
    After grub screen there is only black screen now.
    What to do to run kde or at least revert gnome ?
    Any ideas ?

    What if I take recovery mode and enter aptitude remove kde-desktop
    Will my gnome come back or it is deleted ?

    recovery mode is gone
    well,it was about time to try out 10.04
