    Graphics card and wireless help

    Dear all

I am new to Ubuntu and want to get my graphics card and wireless connection up an running. When I do system-admin-hardware drivers it gives me the option of a number of different drivers and I wanted to know which ones to install. I wasn't sure whether I needed to install all of them or not and whether wrongly installing one might cause me more trouble in the future...

    My graphics card is:
    Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS

    My wireless (I think) is:
    Broadcom BCM3412 802.11b//g

The options I get for the drivers are:
    Broadcom B43 wireless driver
    Broadcom STA proprietary wireless driver
nvidia accelerated graphics driver (version 173)
nvidia accelerated graphics driver (version 185) [recommended]

I'd be greatful for any advice.

    Thanks for your help.

I dont know about the wireless, but for the nVidia driver- get the 185 driver. Odd that there isnt a 190 driver as well, what version of ubuntu are you using?
