Whats the deal with True Crypt?

So a couple days ago I installed kubuntu 9.10 just to see whats its like and so far it's pretty cool, but I ran into a problem early on. True crypt. I tried to install from the terminal using

    sudo apt-get install truecrypt

    This is what came up:
    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
Package truecrypt is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package truecrypt has no installation candidate

I've been looking on the site and on google and it looks like there are a lot of problems with running True crypt on KDE.

What I havn't been able to find is a solution. Does anyone run true crypt on kde? Any advice? Alternative software I could use to mount my encrypted volumes would also work though I would prefer to stick with truecrypt.

    Thanks

You have to download it from the site and install it. Having gdebi installed on your computer will make it a lot easier. You should not have problems with using it on Kubuntu.
