    Deleting non-visable gnome panels

So, bit of an issue, and not quite sure what to do about it,

I wanted another panel, so I clicked on my current panel and clicked "new panel" nothing happened, so I did this a few times, and finally a new panel appeared (right on top of the old one)

However, now when I maximize there is space all around my maximized app, so I think I really DO Have other panels from all my "new panel" clicks, they just aren't visible, how can I make them visible so I can remove them?

    Thanks
