    Installing Ubuntu on encrypted partitions

I downloaded the Kubuntu 10.04 beta alternate install CD, and I want to install it on my computer. I want to have my partitions encrypted. Is it possible to install Ubuntu on an encrypted root partition? If not, is it possible to encrypt my home directory?

When I got to the partitioning screen of the installer, and set a partition to be encrypted, it won't ask for a mount point for that partition. What am I doing wrong?

And before you ask, no, I don't want to use ecryptfs. I want to use an encrypted partition.
