Well I recently installed Ubuntu on my Compaq laptop... I'm pretty sure its an older laptop, I do not know any specs as this laptop was given to me by a friend, but the installation went smooth and i was happy, but i'm not happy that when I go to the Ubuntu software center to get some programs etc. that it wont let me get ANYTHING every time I find something it says "Not available in current data" so i tried the sudo apt command in the terminal and it just does not work for me, can anyone help me out?! Thnx
