    As I understand it, Firefox doesn't conform to Gnome desktop standards, so it's not compatible with the Global Menu.

    I am interested in finding a fix to this as well. I will keep searching.

    I would also like it to not show the titles of applications that don't have windows. That annoys me.

    Same here. Epiphany is the default web browser for gnome and works with gnome-global-menu but I'd really like to see firefox, thunderbird, and open office work with it.

    what app does not have a window and show up in the globalmenu? Maybe you are looking for the maximus daemon that comes default on the UNR.
