    I found a way to live transmit my desktop to a dlna capable renderer. I know, that isn't a miracast solution. It's more like a hack, but you know... my goal was to display my desktop's content on a tv. Whole article you can find here.

    Unfortunately, till today I didn't found any article or software you can run on linux, that will support miracast Perhaps it will be some day. Hope still exists.

    has ubuntu or any linux distro been able to support WIDI yet. Its been a while now since the technology was released
